About Pam Fritz
Pam Fritz is the founder and President of Ophthalmology Resources, LLC, a consulting firm dedicated to strengthening independent eye care practices and optical dispensaries. Known for transforming underperforming opticals into profitable, well-run businesses, Pam has become a trusted advisor to practices across the country.
She is a nationally recognized expert in Medicare DME compliance, post-op cataract eyewear, and medical/optical credentialing. Her workshops, seminars, and trainings have been delivered at major industry meetings – including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Vision Expo East and West, ASCRS/ASOA, and state ophthalmology and optician associations nationwide.
Pam represents the optical industry on Medicare Administrative Contractor Noridian’s national Provider Outreach & Education Panel, bringing current policies and coding information to Optical DME Suppliers.
Her writing has appeared in Ophthalmology Times, 20/20, Review of Ophthalmology, Eye Care Business, and other leading publications. She launched the award-winning “Dispensing MD” section of Ophthalmology Times and served as Executive Director and cofounder of the American Association of Dispensing Ophthalmologists.
Recognized as one of the “50 Most Influential Women in the Optical Industry,” Pam also received an Achievement Award from the American Academy of Ophthalmology for her contributions to education and professional development.
Today, she continues to champion the success of independent practices through consulting, education, and her newest venture – Saving Independent EyeCare.
