Saving Independent EyeCare (“we,” “us,” or “our”), operated by Pamela Fritz, respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through savingindependenteyecare.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site or submitting your information, you agree to this Policy.

Information We Collect

Information you give us. When you sign up for Pam’s newsletter, seminar, and podcast notifications, we collect the information you enter on our signup form, which may include your first and last name, email address, mailing address (street, city, state, and ZIP code), and phone number. If you contact us directly, we also receive whatever information you include in your message.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider and standard web technologies automatically log basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit. We may also use cookies and similar technologies (see “Cookies” below).

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Send you the newsletters, seminar invitations, and podcast notifications you requested.
  • Respond to your questions or requests, including by phone or mail where you have provided that contact information.
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site.
  • Comply with our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

We share personal information only as needed to run the Site and our communications, including with:

  • iContact, our email marketing provider, which stores and processes your name and email to deliver our messages. Your information is handled under iContact’s own privacy policy.
  • Our website host and other service providers who support the operation of the Site.
  • Google Analytics, which helps us understand how visitors use the Site.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a sale or transfer of the business.

This Policy also serves as our notice under the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA). We do not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals at this time.
